In Case of Emergencies

Dr. McPeek does not provide emergency room services or in-patient hospital care. It is important that you have a family physician or pediatrician for emergency problems, or those requiring hospital care. Dr. McPeek will be glad to consult with you or your physician by phone, whenever possible, in reference to an emergency problem.

Appointments

Your first appointment may be as long as an hour and 15 minutes in length and your follow-ups are 45 minutes in length. Once you have made an appointment, you will need to fill out a patient information packet that includes a medical history form. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for your first visit in order to fill out these forms. This will save time during your discussions with the doctor and leave more time for your treatment. If you have any reports that are pertinent to your medical problem, such as lab work, x-rays or MRI reports, please bring them as well. It will also be helpful if you are able to wear loose clothing as your treatment will include hands-on Osteopathic treatment. You will be asked to remove your shoes prior to treatment.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us at least twenty-four hours in advance. We do keep a waiting list for patients and this allows us to offer someone else your appointment time. It is our office policy to charge for a missed appointment.

Missed Appointments

We understand that events in life arise that may make it impossible to attend a previously scheduled appointment. We are willing to work with you when such emergencies arise. However, please be aware of the following missed appointment policy.

This office requires a 24-hour notice of cancellation of appointment. If you do not show up for scheduled appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged the full amount of the appointment fee.

Late Arrivals to Appointments

If you arrive to your appointment late, your appointment will end at the scheduled time resulting in a shortened appointment time. If you arrive late by half of your appointment time, you will be asked to reschedule and return at another time.
